Mothers staying fit
I remember the days when I would eat anything and stay fit. I tried to stay healthy but it was hard but now its hard to stay fit no matter what. Alot of people told me hey just wait when your son starts running around you will loose all your weight in no time. Hell no!!! Not me. So now i have taken this weightloss jounrney in my hands my son is of no help. Jssssss
Counting calories the old fashion way.
My major drawback is i was under the impression that i am under 1200 calories. Oh boy i was so wrong. I was wayyy too much over. This was a great eye opener for me and now with a little help i am trying to stay under my calorie intake. Its hard coz indians eat different types of food and the oil intake is not standard for every household. My partner in this is myfitnellpal.com on my phone. It has most major food groups under my finger tips.

Work out for a working mom
Let me think very very difficult but possible. I started off with elliptical machine thanks Mr. Husband for all the great equipments at home for motivation. For 1 week i could only do 10 minutes slowly 30 minutes was easy peezie. I went ahead still motivated to a little weights 3 lbs to start with. Awesome awesome awesome.... Here comes the real challenge when i steped on the scale i was almost the same weight as 15 days back i wonder whyyy... I know why muscles. I started building muscles so weighing scale was not lying.

Another best challenge
If you are a working mother you actually dont have enough time in your life. 24 hours is not enough when you also have to squeeze in your workouts. I moved on to do 30 minute workout videos which try to kill you in those 30 minutes and soreness is killing you all day. They are awesome and very accomplishing. I feel i have achieved something everytime i finish one video. I started off with bally core toning kit. We already had it from 3 years now. This kit comes with a workout video, a twist board, sauna belt and 4 way ab stretch belt its a very inexpensive workout kit that you can also travel with. Now i have jumped started with Jillian Michaels workout videos, they are the best and short. She tries to work all your muscles in 30 minutes.
The fitbit way
Fitbit is a great help to achieve your goal and keep you active. Its not only a device its a community. I have few friends in their and we challenge each other to have specific or more step counts. And if you are competitive like me ufff you are walking all day long.
Life style change for everyone
I wouldnt say we are in organics but i have changed my entire familys eating habits and the way we do out grocery shopping. I also have a breadmaker now so i know whats going in our bread. Its still learning in progress as i am not a gifted chef or baker but with that machine you cant do much wrong.
To conclude I wouldnt say I am there yet but I am closer than start button. Ican only say you can do it if you really want to. I normally do my workouts before going to work so i have my evenings open for my son and dinner. Stay active and you will be there and always remember if you stop now you have to start again and when you get sore its no fun.
